Water Damage Insurance Claim
Claims Officer (speaking English) and Client (speaking Italian) talk through “Water Damage Insurance Claim”. You interpret both ways — English into Italian, and Italian into English — one segment at a time, exactly as in the CCL test.

Thank you for calling about your water damage claim, Mrs. Bianchi. Could you please describe exactly what happened and tell me when the leak first started?
Have you had a licensed plumber inspect the property yet, and were they able to identify the exact source of the leak?
An assessor from Allianz Australia will visit your property within three business days to evaluate the extent of the damage and prepare a report.
Capisco.
Your policy excess is four hundred dollars, and that amount will be deducted from your settlement once the claim has been approved.
Verranno rimborsate quelle spese?
You can claim emergency repairs up to a set limit if you keep all receipts, but please avoid any permanent repairs before the assessment is complete.
Yes, please call our claims line immediately if the leak worsens — we can arrange for an emergency assessor visit much sooner than scheduled.
Terms in this dialogue that cost marks

Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The free daily dialogue on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went.

How the test works
Practice dialogue written to the CCL specification (two speakers, segments of 35 words or fewer, about 300 words). It is a practice text, not a NAATI test paper, and the AI score is this site's estimate, not a NAATI result. All Italian dialogues · All languages
