Good morning, thank you for coming in. Before we start your divorce application, can you tell me how long you and your husband have been separated?
Under Australian law, you must have been separated for at least 12 months before you can apply for divorce through the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.
Do you have any children under 18 with your husband? This affects whether the court needs additional information about parenting arrangements.
Please note that a divorce order does not automatically resolve property division or parenting matters. You will need to file separate applications for those issues.
Once we file the application, your husband must be formally served with the divorce papers, unless he agrees to sign an acknowledgment of service instead.
Because your son is under 18, the court will ask about parenting arrangements, but you will still not need to attend a hearing unless there is a dispute.
Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.

Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The free daily dialogue on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went.

How the test works
Practice dialogue written to the CCL specification (two speakers, segments of 35 words or fewer, about 300 words). It is a practice text, not a NAATI test paper, and the AI score is this site's estimate, not a NAATI result. All Nepali dialogues · All languages
