Mr. Rostami, your recent scan at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital showed a three-centimetre mass on your liver. We need a biopsy to confirm exactly what it is.

Yes, there are small risks—bleeding happens in fewer than five percent of cases, and infection is rare. If bleeding occurs, we treat it immediately with close monitoring.
خیلی خب، پس ممکنه بگید کی میتونم این آزمایش رو انجام بدم؟
Usually the biopsy is arranged within one to two weeks, depending on the radiology unit's availability. It isn't a fixed rule, just a general estimate.
باشه، برای انجام بیوپسی باید ناشتا باشم یا نه؟
Yes, please fast for six hours beforehand—no food or drink except small sips of water until two hours prior.
