Thanks for calling Fair Trading NSW today. Before we go further, could you please tell me exactly what happened with your recent online order?
Could you please provide the order confirmation and proof of payment? Also, how much did you pay for the laptop, and when did you order it?
Tak, mam potwierdzenie zamówienia oraz wyciąg z konta bankowego. Zapłaciłam pięćset czterdzieści dolarów kartą kredytową dwudziestego marca.
The first step is to send the trader a written request for a refund, clearly stating a reasonable deadline for their response.
A co, jeśli sprzedawca w ogóle nie odpowie na to pismo? Co wtedy mogę zrobić?
If the trader doesn't respond or refuses to help, you can lodge an application with NCAT to have the dispute resolved formally.
Rozumiem. A jak długo trzeba czekać na termin rozprawy w NCAT? Czy to szybki proces?
There's no fixed timeframe for that, unfortunately — it really depends on the tribunal's current workload and how complicated your particular case is.
Czy złożenie wniosku do NCAT dużo kosztuje? Nie chcę wydawać więcej pieniędzy niż muszę.
The application fee is around fifty dollars, though it can sometimes be reduced if you're experiencing genuine financial hardship at the moment.
Dziękuję bardzo za wyjaśnienie. Najpierw wyślę to pismo do sprzedawcy i zobaczę, jak zareaguje.
Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.
- fair tradingZostawić jako 'Fair Trading' i dodać krótko 'urząd ochrony konsumentów'.
- financial hardshipPowiedzieć „trudna sytuacja finansowa” lub „trudności finansowe” – naturalne polskie wyrażenie.
Practise it
Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The free daily dialogue on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went.

How the test works
Practice dialogue written to the CCL specification (two speakers, segments of 35 words or fewer, about 300 words). It is a practice text, not a NAATI test paper, and the AI score is this site's estimate, not a NAATI result. All Polish dialogues · All languages
