Good morning, Mr Singh. I understand you've been having headaches recently. Can you tell me how long this has been happening and how often it occurs?
ਡਾਕਟਰ ਜੀ, ਇਹ ਸਿਰ ਦਰਦ ਲਗਭਗ ਦੋ ਹਫ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਲਗਭਗ ਹਰ ਰੋਜ਼ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਖ਼ਾਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Where exactly do you feel the pain, and would you describe it as sharp, throbbing, or more like pressure around your head?
ਦਰਦ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾਤਰ ਮੱਥੇ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦਬਾਅ ਵਰਗਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਕਦੇ-ਕਦੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਧੜਕਣ ਵਾਂਗ ਵੀ ਦਰਦ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Have you taken any medication for it, and have you noticed any changes in your vision or any nausea?
ਮੈਂ ਦਿਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ ਵਾਰ ਪੈਨਾਡੋਲ ਲਈ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਕੋਈ ਆਰਾਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਿਆ। ਅੱਖਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਬਦਲਾਅ ਨਹੀਂ, ਪਰ ਕਦੇ-ਕਦੇ ਥੋੜ੍ਹੀ ਜਿਹੀ ਮਤਲੀ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
I'd like to check your blood pressure and eyes today. If it doesn't improve within a week, we may refer you to Westmead Hospital for further tests.
ਠੀਕ ਹੈ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਜੀ, ਪਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਥੋੜ੍ਹੀ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਹੈ। ਕੀ ਇਹ ਕੋਈ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਗੱਲ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ?
It's most likely tension headaches from stress or poor sleep, but we shouldn't ignore it completely. Are you sleeping well and drinking enough water each day?
ਨੀਂਦ ਠੀਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦੀ, ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਪੰਜ ਘੰਟੇ ਸੌਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਪਾਣੀ ਵੀ ਘੱਟ ਪੀਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਦਾ ਤਣਾਅ ਵੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੈ।
I'll prescribe a stronger pain reliever and suggest better sleep habits. Please come back in one week if there's no improvement.
