Thank you for coming in today. I need to inform you that the school has decided to formally expel your son, effective from next Monday, due to repeated violent incidents.
ਇਹ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਧੱਕਾ ਲੱਗਾ ਹੈ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤਾਂ ਪਤਾ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਇੰਨਾ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਕੀ ਸਕੂਲ ਕੱਢਣ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਹੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ?
There were three separate incidents in the last two months, including one where another student was injured and needed medical attention.

You can lodge a formal appeal within 20 days through the NSW Department of Education, though there is no guarantee the decision will be overturned.

If the appeal isn't successful, he could enrol in another public school or a TAFE NSW pathway program, though placement isn't guaranteed immediately.

The expulsion will be noted on his file, but it won't stop him enrolling elsewhere unless similar behaviour continues at the new school.
