GTN Spray Teaching for Angina
Cardiologist (speaking English) and 病人 (speaking Sinhala) talk through “GTN Spray Teaching for Angina”. You interpret both ways — English into Sinhala, and Sinhala into English — one segment at a time, exactly as in the CCL test.

Mr. Karunaratne, before you leave today, let's go through exactly how to use your new GTN spray whenever angina pain starts.
Take one spray under your tongue, then sit or lie down and wait five minutes before doing anything else.
No, don't use it as routine prevention. Only spray it beforehand if you're about to do something that reliably triggers your angina, such as climbing stairs quickly.
If the pain is still there five minutes after the second spray, call triple zero immediately, don't wait for a third dose.
Yes, dizziness is common because it lowers your blood pressure. Always stay seated, and don't drive for at least thirty minutes afterward.
Keep it away from heat and sunlight, and once opened, replace it after eight weeks even if it isn't empty. I'll see you at Concord Hospital next Thursday.
Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.
Practise it
Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The free daily dialogue on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went.

How the test works
Practice dialogue written to the CCL specification (two speakers, segments of 35 words or fewer, about 300 words). It is a practice text, not a NAATI test paper, and the AI score is this site's estimate, not a NAATI result. All Sinhala dialogues · All languages
