Eating Disorder Treatment Plan Consultation
Dietitian (speaking English) and Mother (speaking Cantonese) talk through “Eating Disorder Treatment Plan Consultation”. You interpret both ways — English into Cantonese, and Cantonese into English — one segment at a time, exactly as in the CCL test.

Thanks for coming in with Mia again today. Her blood tests are stable, but her weight is still below the healthy range we discussed last visit, so we need a plan.
醫生,佢嘅體重仲係咁輕,係咪代表情況好嚴重,要即刻送佢入院呀?
Not yet. We'll start with a structured meal plan—three meals and three snacks each day—plus weekly weigh-ins here at the clinic to track her progress closely.
咁佢係咪每個禮拜都要嚟見營養師先得㗎?
Yes, weekly dietitian visits for now, along with fortnightly counselling. If she doesn't gain weight within two weeks, we'll refer her to the day program.
如果轉去日間課程,佢係咪要成日請假,唔使返學呀?
The day program only runs mornings, Monday to Friday, from nine until midday, so Mia can still attend school in the afternoons.
咁呢個療程使唔使好多錢㗎?Medicare有冇得cover呀?
With a Mental Health Treatment Plan from her GP, most sessions are Medicare-subsidised. The Butterfly Foundation also offers free family support groups.
咁如果夜晚佢情況突然轉差,我應該點算呀?
If it's urgent after hours, call the Butterfly Foundation helpline or take Mia straight to the nearest hospital emergency department.
明白晒,多謝醫生。咁我哋下個禮拜三再嚟覆診得㗎喇。
Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.
- medicare直接講「Medicare」呢個英文詞就得,因為係專有名詞,廣東話冇對應詞。
- emergency department講「急症室」,呢個係廣東話常用而且貼切嘅講法。
Practise it
Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The free daily dialogue on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went.

How the test works
Practice dialogue written to the CCL specification (two speakers, segments of 35 words or fewer, about 300 words). It is a practice text, not a NAATI test paper, and the AI score is this site's estimate, not a NAATI result. All Cantonese dialogues · All languages
