Good afternoon, Mr Novak. How has your eyesight been since your last appointment, and has the blurriness gotten worse this week?
Puno je gore, sestro. Sve mi je zamagljeno, posebno navečer, i teško mi je čitati novine i gledati televiziju.
The cataract in your left eye is now quite advanced. We recommend day surgery at Box Hill Hospital, which usually takes under twenty minutes to complete.
Hoće li boljeti? Malo se bojim anestezije jer sam imao neku reakciju na nju prije nekoliko godina.
Don't worry, it's usually just local anaesthetic eye drops, not a general anaesthetic, unless you have specific health complications we need to consider.
Uzimam Warfarin za srce, već duže vrijeme. Trebam li prestati piti te tablete prije operacije?
Please tell your surgeon about the Warfarin today. Your GP may adjust the dose, since stopping it suddenly could increase your bleeding risk considerably.
