Depression Consultation: Truck Driver Safety Concerns
GP (speaking English) and Patient (speaking Croatian) talk through “Depression Consultation: Truck Driver Safety Concerns”. You interpret both ways — English into Croatian, and Croatian into English — one segment at a time, exactly as in the CCL test.

Thanks for coming in, David. You mentioned on the phone you've been feeling low for a few weeks—can you tell me what's been happening?
I'd like to write a mental health treatment plan so Medicare can subsidise up to ten sessions with a psychologist—does that sound alright?
Hvala doktore.
Some psychologists can see you within two weeks; others in busier clinics might take up to six weeks—I'll refer you to whoever's soonest.
That's important—if the medication makes you drowsy, you must not drive your truck until we adjust the dose or timing.
You don't need to tell your employer unless you're unfit to drive safely; that's a fatigue and safety requirement, not a diagnosis disclosure.
To mi je veliko olakšanje, hvala. Kada bi trebao doći na sljedeći pregled?
Let's book a follow-up in two weeks to check your mood and any side effects—call Lifeline anytime if things feel urgent.
Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.
Practise it
Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The free daily dialogue on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went.

How the test works
Practice dialogue written to the CCL specification (two speakers, segments of 35 words or fewer, about 300 words). It is a practice text, not a NAATI test paper, and the AI score is this site's estimate, not a NAATI result. All Croatian dialogues · All languages
