Dental Crown Consultation

Looking at your X-ray, I can see the back molar has a deep crack running down toward the root, so we'll need to place a crown to protect it from breaking further.
Oké, dat klinkt best ernstig. Doet het pijn tijdens de behandeling, en wat kost zo'n kroon ongeveer?
The procedure needs two visits: first we shape the tooth and take an impression, then we fit the permanent crown about two weeks later once it's ready.
Wordt er verdoving gebruikt? Ik ben namelijk best gevoelig voor pijn bij de tandarts.
We'll use local anaesthetic, so you won't feel any pain during the procedure, only some pressure and mild vibration from the drill.
Wordt dit gedekt door mijn zorgverzekering, of moet ik het grootste deel zelf betalen?
If you're with Medibank, the crown is partly covered, but you'll still need to pay a gap payment of around three hundred and fifty dollars for the ceramic crown.

We have an opening next Thursday at ten fifteen in the morning, and the appointment itself will take about forty-five minutes to complete.
