Thanks for calling NSW Fair Trading, I'm Officer Bennett — what's happened with your recent online order?
Could you give me the order number and tell me exactly how much you paid for the blender?
Under the Australian Consumer Law, you're entitled to a repair, refund or replacement if the blender isn't fit for purpose. Have you contacted the seller in writing?
There's no fixed legal deadline for a seller to respond, but you could send one more email giving a short, reasonable deadline before escalating this further.
Since the fault is significant and affects normal use, you're entitled to a full refund or replacement, not just a partial credit, provided you still have proof of purchase.
If the seller still doesn't respond, you can lodge a written complaint through our website, attaching your invoice and photos; unresolved cases can then go to NCAT.
Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.
Practise it
Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The free daily dialogue on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went.

How the test works
Practice dialogue written to the CCL specification (two speakers, segments of 35 words or fewer, about 300 words). It is a practice text, not a NAATI test paper, and the AI score is this site's estimate, not a NAATI result. All French dialogues · All languages
