HIV Diagnosis and Treatment Plan
Nurse Counsellor (speaking English) and 病人 (speaking Greek) talk through “HIV Diagnosis and Treatment Plan”. You interpret both ways — English into Greek, and Greek into English — one segment at a time, exactly as in the CCL test.

Mr Michalopoulos, thanks for coming in today. I have your blood test results, and I'd like to go through them with you carefully before we discuss next steps.
Νιώθω λίγο αγχωμένος. Τι δείχνουν τα αποτελέσματα; Είναι κάτι σοβαρό;
The test shows a positive result for HIV. We'll confirm this with a second test at the Alfred Hospital, but with treatment, this condition is very manageable today.
Θεέ μου... Δεν το περίμενα καθόλου. Μπορώ να μολύνω τη γυναίκα μου; Τι πρέπει να κάνω τώρα;
If you start antiretroviral therapy and your viral load becomes undetectable, the risk of passing HIV to your wife drops significantly. We'll test her, if she agrees.
Καλά... Πόσο συχνά πρέπει να παίρνω τα χάπια; Και πόσο θα κοστίσει η θεραπεία;
You'll take one tablet daily, every day, without missing doses. Most patients pay very little through the PBS. We'll review you monthly for the first three months.
Εντάξει, αυτό με ανακουφίζει λίγο. Θα μάθει ο εργοδότης μου γι' αυτό; Φοβάμαι να χάσω τη δουλειά μου.

Σας ευχαριστώ πολύ, νιώθω πιο ήσυχος τώρα. Πότε πρέπει να επιστρέψω για το επόμενο ραντεβού;
Please come back next Thursday at half past ten for your confirmatory test and first prescription. Bring your wife along too, if she'd like to attend.
Εντάξει, θα έρθω την Πέμπτη και θα προσπαθήσω να φέρω και τη γυναίκα μου. Ευχαριστώ για όλη τη βοήθειά σας.
Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.
- pbsΔιατηρείται ο αγγλικός όρος «PBS» καθώς είναι επίσημο ακρώνυμο θεσμού, με σύντομη επεξήγηση αν χρειάζεται: «το κρατικό πρόγραμμα επιδότησης φαρμάκων».
Practise it
Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The free daily dialogue on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went.

How the test works
Practice dialogue written to the CCL specification (two speakers, segments of 35 words or fewer, about 300 words). It is a practice text, not a NAATI test paper, and the AI score is this site's estimate, not a NAATI result. All Greek dialogues · All languages
