Thanks for coming in today, Mrs Konstantinou. Your GP mentioned you've been feeling quite low and anxious lately — can you tell me more about that?
Δεν κοιμάμαι καλά τις τελευταίες εβδομάδες, γιατρέ. Κλαίω συχνά και νιώθω πολύ άσχημα, ειδικά από τότε που πέθανε ο άντρας μου.
I understand that's been really hard. Have you had any thoughts of harming yourself, or feeling life isn't worth living?
Όχι, δεν σκέφτομαι να κάνω κακό στον εαυτό μου. Απλώς νιώθω πολύ μόνη, ειδικά τώρα που πέρασαν τρεις μήνες από τον θάνατό του.
Do you have any family nearby who can support you, and are you currently taking any medication to help with your mood?
Η κόρη μου έρχεται κάθε Σάββατο. Παίρνω μισό χάπι το βράδυ που μου έδωσε ο γιατρός, αλλά δεν βλέπω μεγάλη διαφορά.
I'd like to refer you to the mental health team at Liverpool Hospital. The current wait is about six weeks, but urgent cases are seen sooner.
Θα κοστίσει αυτό; Η σύνταξή μου είναι μικρή και δεν μπορώ να πληρώσω πολλά χρήματα κάθε φορά.
Your GP can create a Mental Health Care Plan, which allows up to ten bulk-billed psychology sessions each year, at no extra cost.
Θα υπάρχει διερμηνέας στις επόμενες συναντήσεις; Τα Αγγλικά μου δεν είναι αρκετά καλά για να εξηγήσω πώς νιώθω.
Yes, we can arrange a Greek interpreter for every session. If you ever feel unsafe, please call Lifeline anytime, day or night.
Σας ευχαριστώ πολύ. Θα περιμένω το ραντεβού και θα κρατήσω τον αριθμό της Lifeline, αν χρειαστεί.

- lifelineΠείτε 'η τηλεφωνική γραμμή Lifeline', διατηρώντας το όνομα ως έχει.
Practise it
Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The free daily dialogue on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went.

How the test works
Practice dialogue written to the CCL specification (two speakers, segments of 35 words or fewer, about 300 words). It is a practice text, not a NAATI test paper, and the AI score is this site's estimate, not a NAATI result. All Greek dialogues · All languages
