Thanks for coming in today, Mr. Anastasiou. I need to take your statement about the collision you witnessed on Bridge Road, Lidcombe, last Thursday afternoon.
Φυσικά, ήμουν εκεί εκείνο το απόγευμα και είδα ό,τι έγινε. Θέλω να βοηθήσω όσο μπορώ.
Can you tell me what time you saw the two cars collide, and whether you were standing on the footpath or sitting inside your own car?
Ήταν γύρω στις τρεις και δεκαπέντε το απόγευμα. Στεκόμουν στο πεζοδρόμιο, περίμενα το λεωφορείο.
Please describe the vehicle that drove away afterwards — the colour, make, model, and any damage you noticed before it left the scene.

Did the driver stop to check on the other car at all, or did he leave immediately without exchanging any details with anyone?

That's very helpful. Did you notice any part of the registration plate? Even a partial number could help NSW Police trace the vehicle later.
