Hard Waste Collection Booking
Council Officer (speaking English) and Resident (speaking Hindi) talk through “Hard Waste Collection Booking”. You interpret both ways — English into Hindi, and Hindi into English — one segment at a time, exactly as in the CCL test.

Good morning, I'm calling about your hard waste collection request for Wednesday. Have you booked this through the council's website, or do you need help with that today?
You can book online, but if you don't have internet access, I can complete the booking over the phone right now. Would that work for you?
We collect furniture, mattresses, and whitegoods, but we cannot take hazardous waste like paint, gas bottles, or asbestos. Do you have any of those items?
That's fine. You're allowed up to three cubic metres per booking. Please place everything on the nature strip by 6 am on collection day.
You can put items out the night before, but not more than two days early, as council officers may issue a fine for early dumping.
If items aren't collected within 3 business days, please call us back and we'll arrange another collection. Is there anything else I can help with?
