Take a seat, please. Before we start, can you tell me when this tooth pain began and what triggers it?
I'll check the tooth now. This looks like it could be an infection near the root, so I'd like an X-ray first.
The X-ray shows infection around the root. We can try a root canal, or refer you to an oral surgeon at Bendigo Health if it's severe.
I've written a referral letter for Bendigo Health. Their oral surgery clinic has an opening this Thursday at ten in the morning.
I'm prescribing antibiotics and ibuprofen for the pain. Don't take ibuprofen with alcohol, and finish the full course even if you feel better after a couple of days.
Stick to soft foods and avoid hot drinks for now. If the pain doesn't ease by Thursday, call the clinic immediately, don't wait.

Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The free daily dialogue on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went.
