Liver Mass Diagnosis at Liverpool Hospital
Oncologist (speaking English) and Patient (speaking Korean) talk through “Liver Mass Diagnosis at Liverpool Hospital”. You interpret both ways — English into Korean, and Korean into English — one segment at a time, exactly as in the CCL test.

Full transcript
Mr Han, the scan from Liverpool Hospital shows a mass measuring four point five centimetres in the right lobe of your liver, near the gallbladder.
네? 그렇게 크다고요? 그럼 암일 가능성이 높다는 말씀이신가요? 정말 걱정이 됩니다.
We need a biopsy to confirm whether this is cancer. If the biopsy doesn't show malignant cells, we'll investigate other causes for the mass.
조직검사는 안전한가요? 출혈이나 감염 같은 위험은 없나요?
The procedure uses local anaesthetic and takes about thirty minutes. You'll stay for observation for two hours afterward, then go home.
회복하는 데 얼마나 걸리나요? 다음 주에 출근해도 괜찮을까요?
Rest for twenty four hours and avoid driving or heavy lifting. If you notice fever or heavy bleeding, go to the emergency department immediately.
만약 암으로 확인되면 어떤 치료를 받게 되나요? 수술을 꼭 해야 하나요?
If cancer is confirmed, options include surgery, ablation, or a liver transplant. Treatment depends on how well your liver is functioning overall.
치료가 잘 되면 완치될 가능성이 있나요? 얼마나 더 살 수 있을까요?
Early detection generally means better outcomes. I'll refer your case to the multidisciplinary team meeting this Thursday, and we'll plan treatment together.
알겠습니다, 목요일 회의 결과를 기다리겠습니다. 최선을 다해 주셔서 감사합니다.
Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.
- emergency department'응급실'이라고 번역하면 자연스럽고 정확하다.
Practise it
Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The free daily dialogue on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went.

How the test works
Practice dialogue written to the CCL specification (two speakers, segments of 35 words or fewer, about 300 words). It is a practice text, not a NAATI test paper, and the AI score is this site's estimate, not a NAATI result. All Korean dialogues · All languages
