Managing Acute Diarrhoea and Stool Testing
Practice Nurse (speaking English) and Patient (speaking Korean) talk through “Managing Acute Diarrhoea and Stool Testing”. You interpret both ways — English into Korean, and Korean into English — one segment at a time, exactly as in the CCL test.

Full transcript
Good afternoon, Mr. Choi. Can you tell me how long you've had diarrhoea, how many times a day it's occurring, and whether it's watery or with blood?
네, 사흘 전부터 시작됐어요. 하루에 오륙 번 정도 화장실에 가고, 변은 물처럼 묽은데 피는 안 보였어요.
Have you noticed any fever, vomiting, severe stomach pain, or signs of dehydration like a very dry mouth or dizziness?
열은 없고 약간 메스꺼운 정도예요. 그런데 어제부터 일어설 때 살짝 어지러웠어요.
Did you eat anything unusual recently, such as seafood or takeaway food, or travel outside Sydney in the past week?
지난 주말에 시장에서 회를 좀 먹었어요. 그것 말고 여행은 안 다녀왔어요.
We'll need a stool sample sent to Western Sydney Pathology at Blacktown Hospital for testing, and please keep drinking oral rehydration fluids regularly.
검사 받는 건 좋은데, 이 검사에 비용이 좀 드나요?
This test won't cost you anything if you have a valid Medicare card, and I'll give you the referral form right now.
알겠습니다. 그럼 검사 결과는 언제쯤 나올까요?
Results usually come back within 24 to 48 hours; I'll call you personally to discuss them and outline any follow-up care needed.
네, 알겠습니다. 그동안 물을 충분히 마시고 푹 쉬도록 할게요. 감사합니다.
Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.
- medicare그대로 'Medicare'라고 영어 발음으로 말하면 된다. 한국어 대체 명칭을 새로 만들지 않는다.
- medicare card'Medicare 카드'라고 그대로 말하면 된다.
Practise it
Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The free daily dialogue on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went.

How the test works
Practice dialogue written to the CCL specification (two speakers, segments of 35 words or fewer, about 300 words). It is a practice text, not a NAATI test paper, and the AI score is this site's estimate, not a NAATI result. All Korean dialogues · All languages
