Managing Depression: Referral and Support Options
GP (speaking English) and Patient (speaking Korean) talk through “Managing Depression: Referral and Support Options”. You interpret both ways — English into Korean, and Korean into English — one segment at a time, exactly as in the CCL test.

Mr. Han, thanks for coming back today. How have you been feeling since we last spoke about your mood and sleep?
솔직히 많이 힘들었습니다. 밤에 두세 시간밖에 못 자고, 아침에 일어나면 아무것도 할 힘이 없어요. 요즘은 살아갈 의미가 없다는 생각도 자주 듭니다.
I'd like to write you a Mental Health Care Plan so you can see a psychologist. This gives you six sessions to start with.
여섯 번이면 충분할까요? 그리고 심리상담사를 만날 때 통역사가 같이 있을 수 있나요?
Six sessions often help, and if you still need support, I can extend the plan. Yes, an interpreter can join every session with the psychologist, free of charge.
제가 직접 전화하기 힘들 때, 가족이 대신 라이프라인에 전화해도 될까요?
Yes, a family member can call Lifeline for you if you're not able to call yourself; that support is still valid. Now, let's talk about medication options.
알겠습니다, 마음이 놓입니다. 약을 먹으면 부작용이 있을까요?
I'll start you on a low-dose antidepressant. Some people feel mild nausea at first, but do not stop the medication suddenly without talking to me.
다음 진료는 언제 다시 와야 하나요?
Please come back in two weeks so I can check how the medication and psychologist sessions are going for you.
감사합니다, 선생님. 이 주 후에 다시 오겠습니다.
Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.
- mental health care plan'정신건강 관리계획(Mental Health Care Plan)'이라고 말하되, 영어 명칭을 병기하는 것이 안전하다.
- lifeline'Lifeline'이라는 고유명사를 그대로 사용한다.
Practise it
Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The free daily dialogue on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went.

How the test works
Practice dialogue written to the CCL specification (two speakers, segments of 35 words or fewer, about 300 words). It is a practice text, not a NAATI test paper, and the AI score is this site's estimate, not a NAATI result. All Korean dialogues · All languages
