Thank you for coming in today. Can you tell me what happened at your workplace after you told your manager that you were pregnant, and how it affected your role?
从我告诉经理我怀孕以后，他们就把我的排班从每周三十八小时减到了二十小时，还把我调去做很基础的文员工作。
When exactly did this happen, and how many hours per week were you scheduled before and after you disclosed your pregnancy to management?
大概是两周前发生的。一开始都还正常，可是我提出要请产检假之后，经理的态度就完全变了，说要重新安排我的职位。
If we can establish that this was due to discrimination, you may be able to lodge a formal complaint with the Fair Work Ombudsman for investigation.
这个调查大概需要多长时间？我很担心在调查期间会被公司找借口辞退。
The investigation process usually takes a few weeks, but without written evidence such as emails or rosters, it becomes harder to prove intentional discrimination occurred.

Under the Fair Work Act, your employer cannot legally dismiss you or reduce your hours simply because this complaint is being investigated.

Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
