Thank you for coming in today. I'd like to talk through how your daughter's meals have gone since her last review at Austin Health's Eating Disorders Program.
Can you tell me if she's still skipping breakfast, or if there's been any vomiting or excessive exercise since we last spoke?
We'll increase her meals to six small meals daily and weigh her weekly. If her weight doesn't stabilise within two weeks, we may consider a short hospital admission.
Yes, she'll see a family therapist twice a week, and we'll involve the whole family in structured meal sessions to reduce her anxiety around eating.
We can arrange a packed lunch plan with the school counsellor, and check in with her teacher weekly so she isn't skipping meals unnoticed.
No medication is needed right now, unless her heart rate or blood tests show concerning changes. We'll monitor those every fortnight to be safe.
