Good afternoon, I'm Emma, one of the nurses here at Logan Hospital. Can you tell me exactly when your breathing became difficult tonight, and what you were doing?
Do you use a reliever puffer regularly, and did you take it before you started struggling to breathe this evening?
Your oxygen level is ninety-four percent, which is a little low. We'll start a nebuliser now — are you allergic to any medications or previous asthma treatments?
We'll keep you here for observation for about four hours, then check your breathing again with a simple lung function test before deciding next steps.
If your breathing stays stable and your oxygen improves, we'll discharge you tonight with a written asthma action plan and a follow-up appointment with your GP.
This visit is covered under Medicare, so there's no charge tonight. Please carry your puffer with you every day, even if you feel well.
Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.
Practise it
Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The free daily dialogue on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went.

How the test works
Practice dialogue written to the CCL specification (two speakers, segments of 35 words or fewer, about 300 words). It is a practice text, not a NAATI test paper, and the AI score is this site's estimate, not a NAATI result. All Pashto dialogues · All languages
