Mr. Ahmadi's CT scan shows a small amount of bleeding on the brain's surface. Has he had any confusion, vomiting, or memory problems since the fall yesterday?

We need to keep him here for 24 hours of observation. If his confusion worsens or he develops a severe headache, we must repeat the scan immediately.

He can go home only if there's no vomiting, no worsening confusion, and his pupils stay normal for the full 24 hours.

He must stop the aspirin for now — it thins the blood and could increase bleeding risk. Paracetamol is fine for headaches, not ibuprofen.

I'll book him into Liverpool Hospital's neurology clinic in two weeks for a repeat scan and a full check of his memory and balance.

Don't wait for the appointment — take him straight to the emergency department if he vomits again, seems very drowsy, or his speech changes.
