Managing a Child's Diarrhoea and Dehydration
Practice Nurse (speaking English) and 母亲 (speaking Pashto) talk through “Managing a Child's Diarrhoea and Dehydration”. You interpret both ways — English into Pashto, and Pashto into English — one segment at a time, exactly as in the CCL test.

Can you tell me exactly what has been happening with your daughter's stomach since yesterday morning, and how she's been behaving since then?
How many times has she had loose, watery stools today, and has she vomited at all, even just once or twice?
Is she still drinking fluids properly, and has she had a wet nappy at all in the last six hours or so?
Because she hasn't had a wet nappy since this morning, I think she needs to be seen today at Logan Hospital's children's emergency ward, just to be safe.
Yes, please take her now. While you're travelling, give her small sips of oral rehydration solution every ten minutes if she's willing to take it.
Please don't give her any anti-diarrhoea medicine unless the doctor at the hospital prescribes it, because that kind isn't suitable for young children her age.
