Mr. Zazai, before we finalise everything, I want to confirm your surgery at Liverpool Hospital is booked for Thursday morning at seven thirty.

You'll need to stop eating by midnight, but you can still have clear fluids, like water, until five o'clock the following morning.
زه هره ورځ اسپرين خورم د زړه لپاره، ایا دا به د عملیات دمخه بند کړم؟
Do you currently take aspirin or any other blood thinners? You must stop taking aspirin five days before surgery unless your specialist says otherwise.

Please stop the aspirin from today. I'll double-check with your surgeon, but generally five days is the minimum before this type of operation.

The anaesthetist will speak with you beforehand and explain everything. General anaesthesia is very safe, and complications are rare for a procedure like yours.

Yes, a follow-up appointment is already arranged for two weeks after your surgery at the outpatient clinic. We'll confirm the exact date before you go home.
