Mrs Popal, your glucose tolerance test results have come back from Wollongong Hospital, and I'd like to go through them with you now.
ښه ده, مننه — خو زه اندېښمنه یم. له ما سره وویاست چې زما پایلې څه شی ښیي؟
Your blood sugar level was a little high, which suggests gestational diabetes. I'll refer you to a dietitian to help manage this safely.
ایا دا زما ماشوم ته زیان رسوي؟ زه دا اورېدو ته چمتو نه وم.
It isn't dangerous if we manage it properly. With the right diet and monitoring, most women don't need any medication at all.
دا ښه خبره ده چې خطرناکه نه ده. نو کوم خواړه دي چې زه یې باید نه خورم؟
Try to reduce sugary drinks and white bread, and eat smaller, more frequent meals. Your dietitian appointment is at 10:30am next Thursday.

You'll check your blood sugar four times a day with a small monitor. If levels stay high after two weeks, we may add medication.
