Understanding the Points Based Activation System
Employment Consultant (speaking English) and Job Seeker (speaking Pashto) talk through “Understanding the Points Based Activation System”. You interpret both ways — English into Pashto, and Pashto into English — one segment at a time, exactly as in the CCL test.

Mr Karimi, thanks for coming in today. Let's go through how your Workforce Australia points target works this month.
Since July 2022, Workforce Australia uses a Points Based Activation System. You need to earn one hundred points every month through job applications, interviews and approved activities.
Each job application earns five points, an interview earns twenty-five points, and completing an approved training course can earn the full one hundred points instantly.
You must reach one hundred points by the thirtieth of each month, recorded in your Job Plan app. If you don't, your payment could be paused unless you have a valid reason.
Upload any proof, like interview confirmations or certificates, through the myGov app or your Job Plan portal, not by email.
Great, that interview will count for twenty-five points this month. Your next appointment is Thursday the ninth at ten thirty.
Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.
Practise it
Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The free daily dialogue on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went.

How the test works
Practice dialogue written to the CCL specification (two speakers, segments of 35 words or fewer, about 300 words). It is a practice text, not a NAATI test paper, and the AI score is this site's estimate, not a NAATI result. All Pashto dialogues · All languages
