Thanks for coming in today, Mr Rostami. I'd like to talk through what starting treatment will involve and answer any questions you have.

Yes, one tablet daily, usually well tolerated. Some people notice mild nausea for the first week, but that usually settles down without stopping the medication.

We'll check your viral load and CD4 count first at four weeks, then every three months once you're stable on treatment.
