Health Insurance Claim Gap Payment
Insurance Claims Officer (speaking English) and Client (speaking Dutch) talk through “Health Insurance Claim Gap Payment”. You interpret both ways — English into Dutch, and Dutch into English — one segment at a time, exactly as in the CCL test.

Thanks for calling Medibank, Mr. de Vries. I've pulled up your claim for the knee surgery you had last month at Epworth Hospital.
Kunt u me vertellen waarom?
The specialist's fee was assessed against our schedule, and after your rebate was applied, there's still a gap payment of four hundred and fifty dollars owing.
Because the knee issue was classed as pre-existing, the twelve-month waiting period hadn't been fully served yet when you had the surgery.
If that's difficult right now, you can pay the gap in three instalments of one hundred and fifty dollars each, spread over six weeks.
Please upload your specialist referral and itemised invoice through the Medibank member app, not by email, so our team can finalise this claim.
Your reference number is seven seven three one two. Once the documents arrive, we'll process the remaining gap within five business days, provided everything matches.
Dank u voor uw hulp. Ik hoop dat het snel afgehandeld wordt.
Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.
Practise it
Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The free daily dialogue on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went.

How the test works
Practice dialogue written to the CCL specification (two speakers, segments of 35 words or fewer, about 300 words). It is a practice text, not a NAATI test paper, and the AI score is this site's estimate, not a NAATI result. All Dutch dialogues · All languages
