Thanks for calling Medibank claims support, Ms. Herrmann. I can see your physiotherapy claim from Northern Beaches Hospital was declined after your car accident last month.
Ja, guten Tag. Ich habe letzte Woche eine Ablehnung bekommen, aber ich verstehe nicht, warum das passiert ist.
Could you confirm the claim number and the date you submitted the invoice for those six physiotherapy sessions after your accident?
Die Rechnungsnummer ist H-vier-vier-sieben-eins, und ich habe die Rechnung Anfang März eingereicht, kurz nach dem Unfall.
Since this treatment relates to a car accident, it may actually need to go through your CTP motor accident insurer rather than through Medibank first.
Das habe ich nicht gewusst. Heißt das, dass Medibank die Kosten für die Physiotherapie gar nicht übernehmen kann?
Not necessarily — if CTP declines part of the claim, Medibank can still reassess it, but only with a genuine referral dated before your very first session.
