Thank you for coming in today, Ibu Wulandari. I'd like to talk with you about your father's care plan here at Blacktown Hospital.

Palliative care means our team will focus on his comfort rather than trying to cure the illness. Can you tell me about his wishes regarding pain relief today?

The morphine dose is carefully adjusted to suit his needs. It will not shorten his life, only ease his discomfort and breathing difficulty.
