Supporting a Teenager with an Eating Disorder
Clinician (speaking English) and Mother (speaking Italian) talk through “Supporting a Teenager with an Eating Disorder”. You interpret both ways — English into Italian, and Italian into English — one segment at a time, exactly as in the CCL test.

Thanks for coming in today, Mrs Conti. You mentioned that Elena has lost weight quickly over the past two months — can you tell me exactly what's been happening at home?
Has she been skipping meals, especially dinner, or exercising more than usual? Any changes in her mood or energy levels lately?
I'd like to refer Elena to the eating disorder program at headspace Bankstown. The first assessment usually takes about fifty minutes.
If you have a mental health care plan from your GP, the sessions are usually bulk-billed, so you won't need to pay upfront.
The waiting list is around two weeks, but if she refuses food completely today, please take her straight to the emergency department.
Cosa dovrei controllare esattamente a casa nel frattempo?
Please monitor her weight twice a week. If she loses more than one kilogram in seven days, call the clinic straightaway.

- waiting listSi traduce come 'lista d'attesa'.

Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The free daily dialogue on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went.

How the test works
Practice dialogue written to the CCL specification (two speakers, segments of 35 words or fewer, about 300 words). It is a practice text, not a NAATI test paper, and the AI score is this site's estimate, not a NAATI result. All Italian dialogues · All languages
