Thanks for staying back, Marco. Before you sign anything, I want to explain exactly what joining the AMWU means for your job here at Dandenong.

That's understandable. If you decide to join, you'll fill in a membership form that stays with the union office — it's never sent to any government body.

The fee is nine dollars sixty a week, deducted through payroll if you authorise it. Your employer's payroll team processes that — not Fair Work Commission.

Yes — you can cancel anytime by notifying the union directly. Resigning membership won't affect your employment, unless there's an unrelated performance issue already underway.
