HIV Diagnosis and Follow-Up Care Discussion
Nurse (speaking English) and Client (speaking Korean) talk through “HIV Diagnosis and Follow-Up Care Discussion”. You interpret both ways — English into Korean, and Korean into English — one segment at a time, exactly as in the CCL test.

Before we go through your results, I want you to know everything discussed today stays completely confidential between us, unless you choose otherwise.
네... 그런데 결과가 어떻게 나왔는지 많이 걱정돼요. 나쁜 소식인가요?
Your test confirmed HIV, but with daily antiretroviral therapy, most people achieve an undetectable viral load and live a long, healthy life.
약을 매일 먹어야 한다는 게 부담스러운데, 부작용은 없나요? 그리고 비용은 얼마나 드나요?
The medication is subsidised under the PBS, so you won't pay full price, and any side effects are usually mild, settling within a few weeks for most people.
혹시 회사나 가족한테 이 사실이 알려질까 봐 너무 불안해요.
Unless you give written consent, we won't share your diagnosis with your employer, family, Medicare, or anyone else outside this clinic.
다행이네요. 그럼 다음 검사는 언제쯤 받으러 오면 될까요?
Let's book a follow-up blood test in three months at Sydney Sexual Health Centre to check your viral load and overall progress.
제 파트너한테는 어떻게 얘기해야 할지 모르겠어요. 도움을 받을 수 있나요?
We also offer a confidential partner notification service, entirely voluntary, if you'd like support telling your partner or need more time to decide.
네, 그렇게 해주시면 정말 도움이 될 것 같아요. 감사합니다.
Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.
- pbs'PBS'라는 영어 명칭을 그대로 쓰고, 필요하면 '정부의 처방약 비용 보조 제도'라고 덧붙인다.
- medicare그대로 'Medicare'라고 영어 발음으로 말하면 된다. 한국어 대체 명칭을 새로 만들지 않는다.
Practise it
Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The free daily dialogue on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went.

How the test works
Practice dialogue written to the CCL specification (two speakers, segments of 35 words or fewer, about 300 words). It is a practice text, not a NAATI test paper, and the AI score is this site's estimate, not a NAATI result. All Korean dialogues · All languages
