Antenatal Appointment: Gestational Diabetes Screening
Midwife (speaking English) and Patient (speaking Macedonian) talk through “Antenatal Appointment: Gestational Diabetes Screening”. You interpret both ways — English into Macedonian, and Macedonian into English — one segment at a time, exactly as in the CCL test.

Mrs Trajkovska, thanks so much for coming in again today. Your glucose test from last week showed a reading of eight point two, which is higher than we'd normally expect.
It means you may have gestational diabetes, which is common and manageable. We'll refer you to a dietitian and start blood sugar monitoring.
You'll need to check your blood sugar four times a day, once fasting and three times after meals, and record each result.
If your levels don't improve with diet and exercise, we may start insulin injections, which are safe and won't harm your baby.
Let's book you in for a follow-up in two weeks at John Hunter Hospital. Please bring your blood sugar diary with you.
Of course, your husband is welcome to join you. Try not to worry too much, most women manage this condition very well.

Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The free daily dialogue on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went.

How the test works
Practice dialogue written to the CCL specification (two speakers, segments of 35 words or fewer, about 300 words). It is a practice text, not a NAATI test paper, and the AI score is this site's estimate, not a NAATI result. All Macedonian dialogues · All languages
