Child's Head Injury After a Fall

Thanks so much for bringing him in so quickly this afternoon. Can you tell me exactly what happened before he hit his head?
Did he vomit, seem unusually drowsy, or complain of a headache at any point after the fall? The doctor will examine him shortly.
Dia muntah sekali selepas jatuh tadi, tetapi sekarang dia nampak biasa dan bercakap dengan normal.
He probably won't need a CT scan unless he vomits again or becomes very sleepy. We'll monitor him closely here at Liverpool Hospital.
We'll observe him closely for four hours here in the emergency department. If he remains alert and stable throughout, he can go home afterwards.
Watch for repeated vomiting, unusual sleepiness, confusion, uneven pupils, slurred speech, or a seizure. If any occur, call triple zero or return immediately.
Baiklah, saya faham.
Please take him to see your GP in three days for a follow-up check, or sooner if you notice any warning signs beforehand.
Baiklah, tiga hari lagi saya akan bawa dia jumpa doktor keluarga. Terima kasih banyak-banyak atas bantuan dan penjelasan awak.
Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.

Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The free daily dialogue on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went.

How the test works
Practice dialogue written to the CCL specification (two speakers, segments of 35 words or fewer, about 300 words). It is a practice text, not a NAATI test paper, and the AI score is this site's estimate, not a NAATI result. All Malay dialogues · All languages
