Child Care Subsidy

Good morning, welcome to Centrelink. I understand you'd like to apply for the Child Care Subsidy for your son. May I have your customer reference number first?

The subsidy goes directly to your child care provider, so you only pay the gap fee. Under this year's Three Day Guarantee, most families get at least three subsidised days each week.
三天保障是什么意思？我先生全职工作，我现在在家照顾孩子。像我们这样的家庭，每周能有几天的补贴？
It means eligible families are guaranteed three subsidised days a week, regardless of work or study hours. Families who work or study more may receive more days.

That's correct. Your child's immunisation must be up to date, and you'll need to confirm your family income estimate through your myGov account linked to Centrelink.

If you overestimate, any extra subsidy is paid to you after the financial year. If you underestimate, you may owe a debt, so update your estimate whenever your income changes.

Yes, you can submit your claim online today. Most claims are assessed within a few weeks. Just remember to enrol your son with an approved provider first.

CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.
