Full transcript
Good morning, I'm Mark from the insurance claims team. I understand your roof was damaged during the storm last Tuesday in Parramatta—can you describe what happened to your property?
Could you give me your policy number, the exact date the storm hit, and confirm whether anyone else was injured or affected?
Have you taken any photos of the damage, and did you call the NSW State Emergency Service to make the property safe after the storm?
There's usually an excess of a few hundred dollars you'll need to pay before we proceed, and the assessment can take up to ten business days.
Your excess is five hundred dollars, which comes off the settlement. And yes, you can still claim without receipts—your photos and bank statements are enough to support it.
Once your claim is approved, you'll receive written confirmation within five business days, and a licensed builder will contact you directly to schedule the repairs.
Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.

Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The free daily dialogue on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went.

How the test works
Practice dialogue written to the CCL specification (two speakers, segments of 35 words or fewer, about 300 words). It is a practice text, not a NAATI test paper, and the AI score is this site's estimate, not a NAATI result. All Mandarin dialogues · All languages
