Mr. Rostami, I'm calling about your knee surgery claim at Ballarat Base Hospital. Bupa declined it because the twelve-month waiting period for pre-existing conditions hasn't been served yet.
چی؟ من که نمیدونستم دوازده ماه صبر لازمه. آخه دکتر گفت باید هرچه زودتر عمل بشم، وگرنه زانوم بدتر میشه.
I understand. Because you joined Bupa only eight months ago, and your knee issue was pre-existing, the waiting period applies. Without it being served, we can't approve the claim.
پس من باید تا کی صبر کنم؟ عمل جراحی قراره هفتهی دیگه، پنجشنبه انجام بشه. اگه بیمه پرداخت نکنه، هزینهش چقدر میشه؟
The waiting period ends in four months, on the fifteenth of June. If the surgery proceeds before then, you'll need to pay the full cost, roughly eleven thousand dollars.
آیا میشه درخواست تجدیدنظر بدم؟ شاید بشه یه استثنا قائل شن چون وضعیت زانوم واقعا اورژانسیه.
You can lodge an appeal through the Bupa member portal, uploading your specialist's letter confirming the urgency. The review team will assess whether an exception applies.
این بررسی معمولاً چقدر طول میکشه؟ چون عمل جراحی نزدیکه و من نگرانم.
Typically it takes around ten business days, sometimes longer if more documents are requested. I'd recommend submitting everything as soon as possible.
اگه عمل رو طبق برنامه انجام بدم و جواب تجدیدنظر هنوز نیومده باشه چی؟ باید پول رو خودم بدم؟
You can proceed, but we can't guarantee reimbursement unless the appeal is approved before your surgery date. I'd suggest confirming with the hospital about a payment plan.
