Liver Cancer Diagnosis Discussion
Oncologist (speaking English) and Patient (speaking Romanian) talk through “Liver Cancer Diagnosis Discussion”. You interpret both ways — English into Romanian, and Romanian into English — one segment at a time, exactly as in the CCL test.

Mr. Ionescu, your recent scan has shown a mass on your liver, and I'd like to go through what we found together today.
The mass measures about four and a half centimetres in the right lobe. We're referring you to the liver team at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse for further assessment.
Yes, we need a biopsy to confirm it's cancer. It's booked for Thursday morning; if that doesn't suit, we can reschedule within the week.
You'll need to fast for six hours beforehand, no food or drink except small sips of water. The specialist will explain every risk beforehand.
It's usually just mild discomfort under local anaesthetic. We'll monitor you for a few hours, and you can go home the same day if there are no complications.
Plan for a few days' rest, avoid heavy lifting for two weeks, and we'll see you again in ten days for the biopsy results.

How the test works
