Hi Rasel, thanks for meeting me today during your break. I work with the SDA union — would you like to learn more about becoming a member?

Membership costs a small fortnightly fee, around nine dollars, deducted straight from your pay each fortnight. In return you get legal advice, dispute support, and free training courses.

Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.
- membership costs'সদস্যপদ ফি' বা 'মেম্বারশিপ ফি' বলা যেতে পারে, দুটোই স্বাভাবিকভাবে বোঝা যায়।
- fair work"Fair Work" নামটি ইংরেজিতেই বলতে হবে, প্রয়োজনে "কর্মক্ষেত্র অধিকার তদারকি সংস্থা Fair Work" বলে ব্যাখ্যা করা যায়।
- tax file number"ট্যাক্স ফাইল নম্বর" বলাই সবচেয়ে ভালো, প্রয়োজনে সংক্ষেপে "টিএফএন"ও বলা যায়।
- payslip'পে-স্লিপ' শব্দটি প্রায় অপরিবর্তিত রেখে বলা যায়, বা 'বেতনের বিবরণী' বলে ব্যাখ্যা করা যায়।
