Thanks for coming in today. Mr. Kovač, your scar revision surgery at Royal North Shore Hospital is scheduled for the third of March, at seven thirty in the morning.
Hvala vam. Zanima me da li treba nešto posebno pripremiti prije operacije, na primjer u vezi ishrane?
Yes, you must not eat or drink anything after midnight the night before, otherwise the surgery could be delayed or cancelled.
Razumijem. Uzimam aspirin svaki dan zbog srca — da li treba da prestanem prije operacije?
Please stop taking aspirin seven days before the operation, unless your cardiologist advises otherwise. We'll also need medical clearance if you have diabetes.

Most patients take two weeks off work, and you shouldn't lift anything heavy for at least six weeks after the procedure.
