Diarrhoea Assessment at a Wollongong Clinic
Nurse (speaking English) and Patient (speaking Bulgarian) talk through “Diarrhoea Assessment at a Wollongong Clinic”. You interpret both ways — English into Bulgarian, and Bulgarian into English — one segment at a time, exactly as in the CCL test.

Full transcript
Good afternoon, Mr Dimitrov, please tell me exactly when your diarrhoea began, and roughly how many times a day it's been happening.
Have you noticed any blood in your stool, or symptoms such as dizziness, a dry mouth, or reduced urination since this all started?
Have you also travelled overseas recently, eaten anywhere unusual, or started taking any new medication in the past week?
You'll need to drink oral rehydration solution regularly, avoid dairy and caffeine, and rest at home. Please return immediately if your symptoms don't improve within 48 hours.
I'll refer you for a stool test at Wollongong Hospital's pathology collection centre; results usually take about three business days to come back.
I'll give you a medical certificate covering three days off work; please come back sooner if you develop a fever or severe abdominal pain.
Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.
Practise it
Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The free daily dialogue on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went.

How the test works
Practice dialogue written to the CCL specification (two speakers, segments of 35 words or fewer, about 300 words). It is a practice text, not a NAATI test paper, and the AI score is this site's estimate, not a NAATI result. All Bulgarian dialogues · All languages
