Thanks for coming in today. I've found a possible warehouse role with a logistics company in Toowoomba. Would you like to hear the details before we go further?
Kyllä, kerro toki lisää. Olen etsinyt töitä jo pari kuukautta, joten olen kiinnostunut kaikesta mahdollisesta.
It's a casual position, twenty hours a week, starting Monday. The site is near the bus interchange, so you won't need your own car to get there.
Onko minulla oltava ajokortti tähän työhön? Minulla ei ole vielä australialaista ajokorttia.
No, you don't need a licence for this role, since the buses run every fifteen minutes from the town centre straight to the warehouse.
Selvä, se helpottaa paljon. Milloin ja missä haastattelu järjestetään?
Your interview is Thursday at ten o'clock at the Workforce Australia office on Ruthven Street. Please arrive fifteen minutes early.
Kiitos, merkitsen sen kalenteriini. Tarvitsenko mukaan jotain asiakirjoja vai riittääkö pelkkä käyntini?
Please bring your passport, visa grant letter, resume, and contact details for two referees who can confirm your previous work experience.
Selvä, kaikki nuo minulla on. Paljonko tästä työstä maksetaan tunnissa?
The pay is twenty-eight dollars fifty an hour, paid weekly, provided you pass the short induction session on your first day.
Kuulostaa hyvältä, kiitos avusta. Tulen haastatteluun torstaina ja otan kaikki paperit mukaan.

Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The free daily dialogue on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went.

How the test works
Practice dialogue written to the CCL specification (two speakers, segments of 35 words or fewer, about 300 words). It is a practice text, not a NAATI test paper, and the AI score is this site's estimate, not a NAATI result. All Finnish dialogues · All languages
