Mrs Konstantinou, before we discuss removing today's drain, let's carefully examine how your reconstruction site has been healing since last week's procedure.

Has the redness spread at all, or have you noticed any fever, unusual discharge, or a persistent bad smell coming from the wound area?

That's reassuring to hear. The drain has collected only fifteen millilitres in the last day, so we can remove it now.
