Hello Mrs. Kovács, I'm the pre-admission nurse from Liverpool Hospital. Before your knee replacement surgery, I need to go through your health history and current medications with you today.

What medications are you currently taking, including any over-the-counter supplements, and do you have any allergies to medicines, latex or anaesthetic drugs?

You must not eat or drink anything after midnight before your surgery, because eating could cause serious complications and we would need to postpone the operation.
