Managing a Child's Diarrhoea: GP Consultation
GP (speaking English) and Mother (speaking Macedonian) talk through “Managing a Child's Diarrhoea: GP Consultation”. You interpret both ways — English into Macedonian, and Macedonian into English — one segment at a time, exactly as in the CCL test.

Full transcript
Good afternoon, Mrs. Petrovska. Can you tell me how long your son has had diarrhoea and how many times a day?
Has he been drinking fluids well, or does he seem drowsy, have a dry mouth, or fewer wet nappies than usual today?
Is there any blood or mucus in his stool, and has he eaten anything unusual in the last few days?
Give him small sips of an oral rehydration solution every ten minutes today. If he becomes very lethargic or won't drink, take him to Wollongong Hospital immediately.
No antibiotics are needed unless we confirm a bacterial infection through a stool test. Avoid anti-diarrhoea medicine for children under twelve without a doctor's advice.
He shouldn't return to school until he's been symptom-free for twenty-four hours. Please book a follow-up appointment if the diarrhoea continues past five days.
