Mr. Rahman, your father was brought to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital after falling at home yesterday evening. The scan shows a small bleed on the surface of his brain.
Ya Doktor, saya faham. Tapi... teruk sangat ke kecederaan dia? Saya risau sebab dia belum sedar sepenuhnya sejak semalam.
We need to keep him under observation for forty-eight hours. If the bleeding doesn't increase, he won't need surgery.
Kalau darah tu tak berkurang, dia perlu buat pembedahan ke? Saya bimbang sebab umur dia dah tua.
His neurosurgeon will review another CT scan tomorrow morning. Surgery is only necessary if there's significant swelling or the bleed grows larger.
Tadi dia cakap benda yang tak masuk akal, macam tak kenal saya. Itu biasa ke, Doktor?
Some confusion is expected after this type of injury. However, if he doesn't respond when you call his name, please alert the nurse immediately.
