Grief Counselling Follow-up Session
Counsellor (speaking English) and Client (speaking Malay) talk through “Grief Counselling Follow-up Session”. You interpret both ways — English into Malay, and Malay into English — one segment at a time, exactly as in the CCL test.

Full transcript
Since we last met at headspace Wollongong, how has your sleep and mood been this week, particularly at night?
Saya masih sukar tidur, Puan.
Have you been practising the breathing exercises we discussed, especially before bed, or has that been difficult to manage given how tired you feel?
Mungkin saya perlukan cara lain.
That's understandable, grief can disrupt relaxation techniques. Your mental health care plan covers six sessions; this is our third, so we still have plenty of time to work through this together.
Baiklah.
Yes, if you still need support after session six, your GP can review your progress and refer you for additional sessions if necessary.
Baguslah, itu buat saya rasa lebih tenang. Bilakah temujanji seterusnya, dan adakah saya perlu bawa apa-apa dokumen?
Your next appointment is Thursday at 3pm at the same clinic. Please bring your GP referral letter if you haven't already given it to reception.
Yes, a 24-hour crisis line is available any time, day or night, if you feel unsafe or overwhelmed before our next session together.
Terima kasih banyak-banyak, Puan.

Practise it
Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The free daily dialogue on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went.

How the test works
Practice dialogue written to the CCL specification (two speakers, segments of 35 words or fewer, about 300 words). It is a practice text, not a NAATI test paper, and the AI score is this site's estimate, not a NAATI result. All Malay dialogues · All languages
